Instructions for SWING 341 Sling

341 Sling Adjustment

The loop of the shooting sling has to be fitted around the upper arm and is adjusted with the tongue of the buckle.

1 - Connection of the sling fastening to the loop is made with the locking stud.

2 - The perforated strip at the loop enables you to adjust the locking stud in four possible positions.

With the tongue of the buckle and the perforated strip of the front sling part, the sling can be adjusted in length.

3 - The special knurled adjuster (Swing) enables you to obtain the optimal length of the sling for both prone and kneeling position. The front of the sling is twisted and transmits the tractive power to the upper arm without any torsion. The "Swing" shooting sling may be combined with almost all standard hand stops.

HANDLING:
Connect the hand stop to your shooting sling and fix it to the rail of your rifle so that your forearm has a rising incline of 30 degrees in prone position. Fix the sling tightly. Now find the best position of the loop on your upper arm. It should give you the best possible support and transfer the tension to the outside of your upper arm to avoid any transmission of your pulse. In this position you adjust the sling fastening at your jacket and secure it against slipping by fastening the locking stud. It is very useful if you have a trained person who can help you to adjust your sling.

ADVICE:
Usually the tension of the sling will decrease during the competition. You are well advised to adjust the sling to maximum length before the competition and tighten the knurled adjuster as required.

The maximum length of the fine-adjustment is marked by rings at both ends.

Attention! When you are in position, the sling should not come in contact with the stock!
