The Pilkguns Shooting Tour of Germany

At this time we are finalizing the details for our next trip to Germany for all our shooting friends. We know that many of you consider Germany to be the homeland of Sport shooting, and will never have the opportunity to visit as part of the US Shooting Team. But that’s no reason to miss out on all the fun of visiting and shooting on all the fabulous ranges and clubs in Germany.

Because of our unique relationships with the greatest gunmakers in Germany, we have made arrangements with Feinwerkbau, Anschutz and Walther for factory tours by our participants to view their fine airguns and firearms being made from start to finish. That’s right, all the processes to make your fine match guns, from making the screws, to rifling the barrels, to the final assembly and test firing, you will get to see it all before your very eyes.

We will also visit the RWS factory to watch them make their high grade ammunition. We plan to visit significant castles and other historical sites as we criss-cross the German countryside. Custom fitting for clothing will be available from top makers AHG and Kustermann , while Nill Griffe will do the same for pistol shooter grips.

Aside from the great technical experiences of seeing the equipment we use and love actually being made, we also have planned informal shooting competitions with the German shooting clubs in each town we visit. We will enjoy a fine meal, wonderful fellowship and shooting with your new found German shooting friends. Coaching from some of Germany’s finest will also be available. Take a look at these two photo essays from the 2001 trip to get more of an idea what the trip involves.
